Trevor Ariza broke his ankle and was out for the year. Even Gasol got injured for 10 games while only being on the team for 26 games. Kwame and Mihm were both injured for most or half the season. Plus, there was a lot of drama with the team as well, and still pulled off with the best record in the west. Yeah, they lost the big one, but why? because they only had Kobe and Gasol and no backup whatsoever. So yeah, you can say they lost the big one, but they weren't that deep at all.This year is totally different though. We got the 2 headed monsters and the best player in the WORLD. We got Odom and Ariza coming off the bench giving us a big spark. They got shooters like Vujacic, Farmar, and Vladimir. And they can put a various range of different lineups in the game, big or small. To me, they are almost unstopable, but thats just my opinion.You think they had a deep bench last year? Look at their bench this year. If you actually seen a Lakers game with your own eyes, you will understand why I believe they will take it all this year. NO team as even came close to beating them except for the pistons. They are blowing out every team like a joke. I get sick of watching the 4th quarters because they are up by 20 already and Kobe and the starters are all on the bench.
