Been having a problem with noise lately. So recently I picked up some Stinger Helix RCA's on ebay. Installed them today. The problem didn't get any better. Just for kicks and giggles i ran the extra RCA from the out on my SS and into the in on my directed. That took care of the noise problem, and actually made the bass seem louder. Is it okay for me to run the RCA's from the amp out instead of the HU out. I got another pair of the same RCAs on the way. Hopefully that'll fix the prob for good. The amp ground point is good and sanded and both amps are grounded at the same spot. And ground wires are short as possible (about 1'). Noise is a continuous thumping when CD is spinning, the noise stops when i pause the cd and after 30 seconds the CD spins down. So i think the problem may be caused my HU but the SS has no noise whatsoever. Whaddya guys think? Advice? Hints? Rants/Raves? Thanks all!
