It’s going to be tough to say why it lost sound without inspecting the system in person. That said, if you have a set of RCA cables with a headphone jack / adapter to plug your phone into the amps input, you can check to see if the amps are producing sound. Turn you phone volume all the way down before playing music, then slowly turn it up. The amps must be powered on when you do this, make sure the power light is on, not in protect mode, and you may or may not need to adjust the amplifiers gain / level control. Test each amp separately. Another thing to try is; see if you head unit has a reset button and reset it (some do, some don’t). Or possibly unhook your battery ground for a few minutes, hit the radio power button with the battery unhooked which might help drain any residual power in it (should not turn on of course since battery is unhooked), then reconnect the car battery and see if the head unit is reset and you have sound again. Did the power wire short to / touch the RCA cables at all? Process of elimination testing each component until you find the fault.
