I recently installing a Capacitor for a friend of mines who had his amplifier installed professionally. I was looking at their installation and I must say it was quite impressive (Very clean and neat) However his car is brand new and at the time of installation didn't have a new head unit. Which meant a line output converter was needed for the install, but they installed the LO converter in the trunk where the 6x9 where wired up?!? also there wasn't a 12v remote lead runing into his amp anywhere?!!? So I had some questions reguarding his installation. 1. How does the amp turn on w/o a 12v remote lead? 2. I always though the LO converter was installed behind the stock HU. 3. [he has a new pioneer deck now] im pretty sure running RCA's from the new HU will have better SQ or should I just keep the LO converter in for the RCAs.
