I posted this in the wiring forum and got no feedback… "comp amp light and sub amp lights are not on when the car is running, the 2nd battery w/digital terminals and digital distro both show juice, and just about 15 volts on both readouts...when i shut the engine off, the amp lights come on...when i turn it back over i hear the sub thump for a split second and the lights on the amps go back off...check all the fuses, they are all fine, all wires seem to be connected just fine, i even re-seated the battery terminals, as kind of a desperation move..." I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not providing enough info, or if it’s because it is just plain retarded, but I’ve ever come across the issue before and I just can figure it out… so as of today, I got a tester out tonight to check and see which wires were hot, make sure that my amps were receiving power from the distro block/battery, everything shows that it’s getting juice from the block all the way down to the terminals on both amps. Now with the key turned over, the lights on the amps will no light up, with the key off the light on the mono amp will light up but the one on the comp and does not, when I disconnect the mono amp from the distro block the comp amp lights up but still no output from the speakers, and of course if I turn the key over again no lights on the amps… I’m guessing negative feedback…anyone? mechanical engineering degree ftl
