Hi guys, I’m trying to duplicate the set up described in the following threads (the 2 threads are written by one author about the same setup). Nexus 7 built in to double DIN enclosure. On top of the N7 processor? 3/ For switching the power supply on and off with the car, will this work as the 12V relay before the Carnetix CNX-P5V? 12VDC/40A SPST Automotive Relay : Automotive Relays | RadioShack.com 4/ If I’m understanding correctly, to power everything, you have to connect the Male USB end of the OTG Y-cable to a cigarette USB charger? That means there’s going to be a visible cable running from the cigarette USB charger to the N7? If that’s the case, it doesn’t look very OEM. Is there some way to get around this, such as hard wiring the cable supplying the cigarette lighter to the Male USB end of the OTG Y-cable (therefore there would be no need for the cigarette lighter or the USB charger, then I could perhaps hide the USB OTG Y-cable under something). As I said, I’m a novice, and any detailed cook book-like instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million!
