I have a closed box with two tens the one ten has a positve and negative that go to the amp's positive and negative then the other sub has the positive and negative going to the same positive and negative on the amp so it has two positives coming off the amp... two negatives coming off the amp going to both subs.. is this wrong? [QUOTE="dcd3sk8er, post: 2883227, member: 575873"] ok so ive had this setup for a while now and it just doesnt seem right... the guy at the store was selling this package at best buy it was 2 alpine 12's a box and an alpine amp for 600 everytime i went they were sold out of 12's so i asked him to substitute for 10's he told me he could do that but would have to sell me a more expensive amp so I took the deal.. Well here in hawaii it was a 2 week wait to get it installed so I installed it myself.. it works but something just doesn't seem right. I've switched out decks so I dont think that is the problem.. might be my wiring? I have a closed box with two tens the one ten has a positve and negative that go to the amp's positive and negative then the other sub has the positive and negative going to the same positive and negative on the amp so it has two positives coming off the amp... two negatives coming off the amp going to both subs.. is this wrong? It works but the power just doesnt seem enough the guy sold me the specs.. here are the subs I have... The subs hit alright its just they don't hit very hard...
