Hey, y'all! I just figured I'd take a moment to introduce myself and my new build. My name is Zack and I've been into music/audio for as long as I can remember. I'm in college now so I can't really afford the system I'd like to have but its a start. The car I am building off of is a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser (You can hate if you want but it was free) I started by rewiring the whole system with OFC wire. I've completed the big 3 with 1/0 AWG wire, run 4 AWG wire to the trunk for my subwoofer amp and run 12 AWG speaker wire to all of my speakers. Starting up front, I'm running a Sony MEX-XB1000BT head unit, Rockford Fosgate Prime 6.75" component door panel speaker and dash tweets, Prime 6x8" components in the rear pillar, a Hifonics HFi-1500D amplifier pushing 1,000W RMS to my 2 Kicker CompR 12" subs. This is only the base that I will be building my system off as I can afford to upgrade. I'm also buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee roller that I will be rebuilding and eventually moving my audio system into along with some custom performance and visual mods. I'll probably be posting pictures of progress and such as well and participating in conversation. I look forward to meeting some new people and maybe picking up/exchanging tips and tricks. Have a good one!
