No audio...except the scream from the engine (B16a2 with an 8k rpm redline)! I love that car, but it's definitely not a daily driver. I recently started peicing together a system for my daily driven '97 accord. It currently consists of an Alpine head (I think cda-9831?) from about 4 yrs ago, a new Rockford Power t400-4 to power my front stage (mb quart Q series 5.25" component set) & possibly a center channel in the future, & an old kenwood amp pushing an MTX 8" sub in a sealed enclosure. In the past I had always started with the sub first, but I know better now. There's nothing like a good front stage. The next step will be a new low end. Probably another Rockford power series amp & a 10" sub in a custom fiberglas enclosure. I look forward to sharing in the knowledge on this site & learning about some of the new things mobile audio has to offer these days.
not to car audio. I have intalled several audio systems in my cars, as well as friends & family members cars. I started in high school & ended up competing in local sq events back in 1994 with my '87 accord. When that car was totaled I moved on to a '93 BMW 3 series. After installing a system in it myself, & enjoying it for a while. I allowed the local car audio shop to talk me into letting them install a full "professional" system in it. They did a good job, but it was nothing compared to what I could have done if I had invested the time & energy in it myself. Since then I have never had anyone work on my cars besides myself. I moved away from the mobile audio scene for a few years, and moved more into the performance side of autos for a while. I have a '91 civic hatch built for auto-x & local track events. Probably another Rockford power series amp & a 10" sub in a custom fiberglas enclosure. I look forward to sharing in the knowledge on this site & learning about some of the new things mobile audio has to offer these days.
