Please help me, am i doin something wrong? another thing, the sub seem only be putting out the lower frequences and no highs, it will pound that song "money in the bank" pretty hard, but when i play a song like "millie" with higher frequency bass, its like the sub shuts off, it goes dead silent, and i kno its not in protect because as soon as a lower note comes up, it pounds it right away, now i remember something off the kicker website saying something about the solo barics having dedicated low frequency responce, but ****. again, please help me?

[QUOTE="breed_corona07, post: 5224417, member: 602042"] ok, so i jus hooked up my new shit, my amp is a 1800(900rms) kenwood (KAC-9104D) >900w at 1ohm, 900w at 2ohms, and 500w at 4ohms(I know, cheezy amp), and my sub is a 15" L7 2 ohm voice coils, brand new, i hooked everthing up, im running it at two ohms now, i tried 1 ohms, but it jus goes into protect after like ten seconds if i even try to bump jus a lil hard, so then i tried 4 ohms, and it does the same thing(im clueless as to why it would do this at 4ohms considering the 400w power decrease?), so then i jus ran each coil to each terminal on the amp, like it says in the manual for a 2ohm DVC, and it started the whole go into protect act again, so i took a break for about 15 min, came bak and turned it up, and all of a sudden it was lettin it get pretty loud without goin into protect, but eventually if i turn it up more it does go into protect. now wat ive heard since i connected it is jus not the bass i expected, im my head i woulda thought this sub would jus hit harder, especially at full power, my friend has the same model amp hooked to a DD audio 9515 and it hits pretty nasty, way louder than mine.
