[QUOTE="pinoywitboom, post: 4753854, member: 589352"] well my question is today i finally got metered and got a 141.5@45hz with 2 12" type r's and a 1500d. now here is my question, i have seen so many type r forum boner threads that i dont know what to believe and what not to. my car is an integra coupe so its a hatchback so i would think i wouldve gotten a lil higher number that what i did. now i asked an owner of a shop where i live on what he would suggest i do on getting louder, he told me i would probably want to look into getting some REAL subs, as he said. now i know the type r's are much more capable of doing much better than what i scored, but how much more debeez could my install add with type r's? i mean only think i could think of to get louder off what i have atm without switching equipment is get an optimal box meant for the 2 12" r's to slam for daily, upgrade amp power/ground wire to 1/0 from 2awg, and deaden the entire car. now the guy also told me deadening my car wouldnt get me louder but ive read otherwise so what does it really do? plz help me on figuring out where i should be spilling more cash into, better install equipment-or better subs?
