[QUOTE="adr531, post: 274424, member: 549128"] so i just installed my kx600.1 kicker amp. i have a 4gauge power wire/ground. everything has solid connections and there are no problems there. anyway when wiring my s10l7 in the sealed box, i wired the two positives together, and the two negatives together (2ohm load to my amp). in the back of the box there is a round circular piece that has a pos/neg jack. anyway i didnt have any clips to wire it to it, am i suppose to solder the pos/neg running from my DVC to the inside part of those jacks on the plastic piece...or is there some kind of clip or other thing i need for it? anyway i unscrewed that round plastic piece, and then leaving me with a big hole in the back of my box approx. 3-4inch in diameter. is this why my subs arent loud at all? if i put that plastic piece back in to cover the hole would it slam louder?? right now my walmart pioneer setup was even louder than this its pathetic. also on the amp the gain goes from 0-11 and i set it at what would be roughly 4 which was 2notches up, (10 oclock). my x over is set at around 75hz and i dont have the sub sonic filter turned on and also the bass boost is at 0.
