I just got an e815; Here's the deal. Verizon cripples their phones. This phone is bluetooth capable, but verizon has disabled object exchange; That's the ability to send ringtones, music, wallpaper etc to the phone via bluetooth. It can be enabled by hex-editing the 'seems' You can, however, SMS yourself ringtones and whatnot, and save them to the phone. The phone is also mp3 playback capable; However, Verizon doesn't provide any support for that, and makes it difficult to transfer mp3s onto the phone. If you purchase a t-flash card and a t-flash programmer, you can load the card up, and stick it in the phone; With another hex-editing hack, you can copy them over. The phone comes preloaded with a few dozen childish cartoon emotes; They cannot be deleted unless you use the Motorola Datacable. Which you'll need to purchase. The phone itself rocks. One shortcoming - if you set an Alarm to go off, and you receive a TXT message before it goes off (like overnight, and you don't get the chance to check the message,) the alarm won't go off. I like the phone, but I wish Verizon hadn't f*cked it all up. I"m on day 7 of my 15 day trial period; I may return it, but unfortunately, even if I get another phone, verizon will still have all the functions disabled. The phone is capable of EVDO transfers (highspeed) You should be able to connect it to your computer and use it as a wireless, highspeed modem; However, Verizon has thrown a few kinks into that. All these things can be accomplished, but involve some pretty geeky stuff to make it happen. So far on mine, I have wallpapers, ringtones, and free web browsing; It's still missing bluetooth functionality, mp3 playback, and some other features. I like it. It takes movies, too.
