sup everyone... name's RayRay and this is my first post here... so forgive the noobie-ness i have a 1992 Toyota Camry with a Clarion setup. you can see my stuff on my little webpage i just setup: http://www.telusplanet.net/public/rayray7/rayrayonline/audio.htm i am in the process of putting the Clarion SRS1624 6.5" separates into my front doors right now. the woofer will be going into the stock location, and the tweets will go into a custom location higher up near the window. while wiring the speakers up i noticed that there is a little resistor/capacitor (sorry, don't know the correct term) that i assume splits up the highs and lows. question 1: i have 2 passive crossover boxes that came with my old JL audio separates in my old car. would it be better to use these crossover boxes with my Clarion's and just cut off those little resistors? question 2: would it just be better to get a crossover for my system like this one... http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14931&item=3014252593&rd=1 what would be the best way to wire it up? thanks for the info. -rayray
