Message: <blockquote data-quote="audionewb" data-source="post: 789657" data-attributes="member: 560036">First off, I would like to say that I really have zero knowledge with regards to car audio.  I just got a minto 1990 Mercedes 300SE.   It has the Becker stereo with cassette which is being replaced by an Alpine cda-9833.    Until I have a better plan, find a quality installer, and have plan, I want to use my stock speakers.  I have no idea what comes stock, what size or how many.  I want to power then via the head unit for now.As far as upgrading, what is a good game plan?  I don't really know the difference between components and coaxial or what I should be looking for.  at some point I will probably add a sub in the back.  I am looking for good, quality concert sound.  Not bass heavy, pounding.  I want the car to remain stock in the looks dept.  Can anyone give me any ideas?</blockquote>
