I recently installed a new headunit in my car(JVC). Now my speakers are crackling like crazy. Even with the volume all the way down, they have static coming out of them. Could this be a wiring problem? Or road noise? Because i can hear the static change when i press on the gas pedal a little, kinda like a whistle. Any tips on how to get rid of this? Maybe take the unit out and rewire everything? I didnt have this problem with the stock unit.
