In fact rock and metal bass has the type of tight bass that punches your chest and sound most clean! Was in a metal band in back in high school too, cant get enough of crazy guitar riffs/sweeps and double bass pedals. Was mainly into killswitch engage(obvious avatar lol), as i lay dying, metallica, bullet for my valentine, my children my bride, all that remains, and a bunch of other metal core bands. Recently discovered a nice song, Carcer City - The Road Journals   Bass hits decently nice after the build up on that.</p></blockquote><p></p>
