I recently bought a Dual XHD6420 and installed it in my '02 Saturn SL1. The red light behind the face blinks but when I hook up the face it won't power up or do anything key to Acc, on, or the engine running. I bought the wire harness for it to connect back to my car and used butt connectors, crimp-on, to wire it. I followed the wiring as shown in the manual. After connecting everything I had 2 spare red ignition/on 12v wires, two orange dimmer related wires, and black/white amplifier ground. The troubleshooting section of the book suggests my yellow or red are not hooked up properly or are incorrect voltage (should be 11-16 and they're both 12 and hooked up securely, the ground is not hooked up properly (I have what they lsited as chassis ground connected securely to the chassis ground on the wire harness), or the fuse is blown (the fuse looks fine). Am I supposed to hook the amplifier ground up to the black cable on the Dual unit's wires with the chassis ground? What am I missing here?
