Thank you guys for your responses. I ended up going to the sound shop today but the main guys aren't there on the weekend. I did explain my concerns and they said to come back on tuesday (darn holiday weekend! lol). And thank you for educating me and explaining that the two I have are not DSPs. I was under the odd impression that the lc7 was actually a DSP. They did do a bit of diagnosing however to the best they could do and did actually improve my speaker sounds. However, my speakers are going out whenever I get a text message or any notification (Android Auto) but upon disconnecting and reconnecting my phone to the car, the speakers work again. They said they would diagnose this on tuesday. But now begs the question... Should I go ahead and get a REAL DSP for my car? I have powerful amps and the pac amp pro with my system. My overall budget spent with this system thanks to my mom and what I have previously is obviously high. Should I might as well invest in a DSP? What are the advantages of adding a DSP? And can anyone recommend a really strong DSP for my system. My budget right now is quite high so money isn't an issue. I honestly wish I was an experienced sound technician or this was my field of expertise but unfortunately fell on the Computers/Laptops spectrum and Veterinarian work as my expertise instead :p. Thank you ahead of time for the responses
