<blockquote data-quote="Spr0ket" data-source="post: 1153428" data-attributes="member: 560341">I have listened to MANY audiobahn systems as well.&nbsp; They ****.&nbsp; Even if you put them in a proper enclosure, they still ****.&nbsp; Now let&#039;s drag up audiobahns customer service shall we?&nbsp; Three month repair time for an amp?&nbsp; What about ripped surrounds due to shipping that they (audiobahn) won&#039;t authorize an RMA?&nbsp; Man, you don&#039;t even know the half of it when it comes to audiobahn.&nbsp; If all you are worried about is how loud they get then fine, go bump your audiobahn sh!t all you want... just know you can get a much better system for the same price.The funniest thing happened to me while at the local stereo shop.&nbsp; Person brought in two immortals 12&quot; and one of the huge audiobahn amps (don&#039;t remember which).&nbsp; The shop built a box for them and tuned it to 60Hz for SPL competition.&nbsp; The box was absolutely immaculate (sanded ports, beveled edges, smoothed and rounded interior corners).&nbsp; They even spent about 3-4 hours properly tuning the car for the most pressure at the dash.&nbsp; The car in question was a Honda Civic SI (hatchback) and they had upgraded the alternator, the big 3, and had a semi-decent head unit.&nbsp; The speakers were all audiobahn crap (6.5 psuedo-component/coax speakers).&nbsp; It was horrid.&nbsp; Yes, it got stinkin loud but the sound quality was crap.&nbsp; The stereo competition (next day) went pretty well.&nbsp; We had a rep there from DEI, so no big deal.&nbsp; In the street competition the kid with the audiobahns didn&#039;t even rank in the top 10... 17 in all.&nbsp; The guy who won the street comp had two kicker 8&quot; L7s pushed from a concept 2410 amp.&nbsp; I think he hit 152.1.&nbsp; The part I was impressed with... the L7s were very clean sounding... made the audiobahns sound crappier than they really were.So... yes... audiobahn is crap.&nbsp; Period.&nbsp; Next.</blockquote>
