Just got my 320a alternator from Mechman installed today. When I was driving home I realized how low my voltage was at usual idling speed. I idle at 600, currently anything below 900 kills my voltage. I called Eric and he told me to drive it around some this weekend and let him know on Monday if I'm still having the problem. If I'm stuck at a red light for over a minute my voltage drops LOW, below 12 volts low. I'm not even playing music to begin with. I know I was told to drive normally throughout the weekend, but that was before I knew my voltage would go below 12.5. Has anyone had this problem before with a new alternator? And I'm at least safe to drive around right? Never had below 13 volts until today.
