Message: <blockquote data-quote="Decipha" data-source="post: 946511" data-attributes="member: 560051"><p>I'm going to be installing a 2000 watt rms amp in my brothers 89 lincoln, the factory alt is only 95 amps!  What size alt should i get to upgrade?  I need something that will have enuff juice to supply the amp and the electronics, the 95 amp alt has a little trouble running just the cars electronics, i know doing the big 3 will make a major difference since the factory alt to battery wire is only 8 gauge.  What would be the best alt to supply the juice i need?  I'm guessing a 200 amp alt should be enuff??</p></blockquote><p></p>
