In an effort to boost thread replies and forum interaction, I’ve been testing an AI reply bot that caters to car audio specifically. (No this bot is not from Hawaii ) Basically how it will work, if a new thread hasn’t received a reply in a specific amount of time (hours), the bot will send an AI generated response based on the post at hand, to help answer the original poster’s topic or question. This only applies to threads with no replies and created from here out. It will also not reply to a reply, or threads with replies. Lots of times, a thread is posted overnight, when site traffic is lower and the thread may not receive a reply for many hours. This will help reduce this and hopefully retain more members and create more interaction. The bot will continue to be tweaked, but it looks pretty promising so far. Let me make it clear, this is only to assist in replying to new threads, when either a member doesn’t know the answer, or aren’t around to answer. Even if AI answers, members are still encouraged to chime in and assist. Again, the bot will not reply to a reply in a thread, only the first post. The debacle with Google really took its toll on site activity the past year or so and my intention is only to help get the forum back to where it once was…
