[QUOTE="Nut Hair Trick, post: 6041091, member: 610343"] I was thinking of changing my sub setup and I'm not sure what route to go. I have limited space and right now I am running (1) DD10. This is going under the rear seat of my F150 Supercrew. They will be powered off a Phoenix Gold Xennon x600.1 with a birthsheet of 826w. Amp is stable from 1-4 Here is what I'm thinking: 3 or 4 8's- I was looking at The Fosgate P2D28's to do this and was wondering if these things are garbage or should I choose some other 8's. Right now My wife has a P3 15 in her car and it sounds pretty decent. They are on sale on ebay right now for cheap. (2) 10 inch type R's- with a mounting depth of 6.8, I dont know if this will really be an option. I can build the front of the box to be 8 in, but it would go 12-14 inches deep and finished off with 5 3/4 height at the rear of the box. (2) 10 or 12 inch Memphis Audio SCLASS slim fits. I'm kind of skeptickal of the slim fit subs because if they are so great, then all subs would be "slim fit". But, they were suggested by a very knowledgeable member of this site so I think I could definitely take his word on this. The thing is, you cant hardly find them online and when I do, some stereo shop has them and it says for in store purchase only. I guess because they are relatively new. I sure hate to go into my local shop and get *** ***** with a purchase of these. So what do you think? Any suggestions? Here is the general shape of the box that will be built to house the new subs -minus the angle at the rear of the box.
