The BTLs are very strong and very efficent, and can get loud with less power. Just because a sub is rated at 2k rms doesnt mean you need to give it that. Also dont worry about those guys coming in here saying dumb stuff to you. Hes just upset you didnt want his subs.enclosure/install is what makes or breaks a system. The BTL is a great driver and Fi has good CS. Like someone said before the Q is also a good driver if you would prefer something in a sealed enclosure.With your budget you can get a good range of subs (new) that will do you justice. Companies Id look into is FI, AA, DC, IA, SSA, ID, AQ and theres a few more they all have subs in your budget range.</blockquote>
