(and got top notch service, married to the owners daughter).&nbsp; GMs collapsible steering shaft in the full size trucks/suv&#039;s is a terrible design.&nbsp; it is the intermediate shaft that is designed to collapse on impact so the wheel doesnt come your way.&nbsp; the thing dries up due to leaking grease and then it starts knocking, eventually going to wear parts out because its metal against metal.</p></blockquote><p></p>
