Ok. I really like the image dynamics line. I have ran a Diamond M6 15" before and was just completely thrown off guard by its abilities - thats why i wanted another one. Never heard of SSA? Ill look it up. Thanks a lot man. Good call on the sound deadening too. Do you think it will really reasonate that much? Its not like im running 3-4000watts? i dont have much experience with diamond audio but they have stopped making the d6 i have heard it was a great sub but from my personal experience the id10v3s have been the best subs on that power that i have heard. another good option would be the old school re re10s not the rex10s. the floor is going to resonate quite a bit more than u would think. just think about it the floor is going to be buffeted with air pressure constantly when the subs are in use. down firing uses the floor as a load barrier to force the energy in the form of vibrating air in the direction u want the sound to go so the stiffer the floor, the less amount of air vibration is lost by energy transfer in the form of resonating panels. im only running 900w total power in my truck and i have ore invested in sound deadener than i do in my amps which for me is around $650. deadening my doors, floor and back wall help tremendously. i dont want my bass to be heard outside of my vehicle that would get me tickets but inside my truck ive managed to keep a good amount of bass even with my $80 rockford shallow subs. ive had my days of massive bass and now im tired of not being able to use my mirrors or listen to actual cds(the cds used to skip the bass was causing the radio to vibrate so much) id stay away from bandpass boxes with the power u have on tap coupled with the space u have u can get more from a simple sealed or ported box. plus bandpass boxes are a b!tch to design and build
