Ive tried searching the forum for a few but nothing was too specific to my situation. I am hoping someone can throw some guidance my way. I have a 2012 Access cab Tacoma. I am running a single 12" audiopipe txx-be12 with a jackhammer monoblock amp (its rated at 600w rms but i think its pushing a lot more). The box is MDF and ported - i think its somewhere near 3cf. Right now my amp is turned down quite a bit, the sub cant handle the full load from it. I do not like the set up i currently have. Its tacky and getting in the way. I have to be able to access both of my rear seats, the box is sitting on one of them currently. I have designed a box which will go in between both of the seats allowing functionality. It will house 2 10"s. It will be near 1.5-1.65cf sealed. The subwoofers will be downfiring with a 2" clearance on the bottom for allowance of excursion and airflow. I am thinking either RE SX 10"s, or Diamond D3/D6 10"s. Ive already checked the specs and either or recommend optimally .75cf sealed for each 10". The box will fit in between here: Like this (but a lot taller - this one houses a single 10"): Here is what i have drawn up: Now to my main questions: How much bass am i going to lose downsizing to 10"s? How much bass will I lose going from a large ported box to a smaller sealed box? I like my amp, but I can replace if need be. I definitely think its possible to really get some juice out of it running it into two 10"s. Thanks for any help given.
