They are wired in parallel so if they are 4 ohms you have a 1ohm load going to your amp. I've heard that hifonics does push out near rated RMS so you should be getting near 1k watts. Your amp is 1ohm stable... Make sure your HU has the bass level all the way up. Its attenuation. and that it was tuned with it up. If the other sub moves without it being connected and they share a chamber thats normal. Its just air. Your mind then thinks sound is coming from it. Try not to use the banana plugs? Just use wire from one coil to the other. And if the subs share a chamber just wire them in parallel directly. Doesn't hurt to try. Go from positive on amp to positive on first sub. then + to + on 2 voice coil. From that 2nd voice coil wire the other + from the other sub then the + of the 2nd sub to the + of the 2nd voice coil on the 2nd sub. Repeat on the Negative terminals. The amp may have two speaker outs but internally they are parallel it doesn't matter where you connect it. Quick question, do you have the bass control connected and is it turned up? The bass remote is a remote gain level... meaning if your gain is set 3/4ths then on the bass remote turned up all the way would be 3/4ths gain as well.
