Ive already tried posting these questions, but nobody seems to wanna help. Hope this isnt one of those "youre a new guy so youre not worthy of a response" snob forums. Bought a car with the system already in it. 1. When playing rock music, the high freq. (mainly guitar) will fade out (not cut) like 2 seconds after the rest of the music stops. Specifically the song Bulls on Parade, during the intro when the bass and drums cut out, ill get like 2 seconds of the guitar line then it will fade out. I think they have installed component speakers but i havent opened the doors to see yet. there are tweeters in the columns, but i havent heard anything come out of them. Maybe they didnt hook em up but its not a half *** job with the mounting of them so i dont think that would be it. Theyre hooked up to a rockford P4004 on HP filter. Head unit is a kenwood touchscreen and messing with the controls doesnt do anything for this issue. Everything from freq filters to q factor and nothing. Want to see if anybody could help me out before i have to go strip interior. 2. Can anybody tell me where the engine to chassis ground is on a 95 Caprice 9C1 LT-1 is located? 3. The previous owner also upgraded the alternator power & battery to chassis ground but did it with 4ga. wire. they have a rockford t1000.1bd with 0ga. wire but i read you dont want to use smaller than what your largest amp is using. any help would be appreciated, if i can get a response
