Since the KAC-7204 is a 2-channel amp I think you had the subs wired to 4 ohms with one sub going to each channel. A mono 2 ohm amp could do you well and you'd gain a remote bass knob. This uses the latest Class D small footprint design to make 650W at 2 ohms with an amp that's only 9" long by 5" wide.
