I currently have p3sd2-12 shallow mounted subwoofer in my car. It has an RMS Power Rating of 400w with 800w being the peak power. I would like to change the sub and the setup to a 5 channel system, but I need your help for some recommendations. My current build: Lacks that nice hard hitting bass Wiring: 1 Gauge wire w/ (1) 200A monofuse block near battery Headunit: Pioneer X6800BS 50 x4 sub 2v preouts | clean undistorted volume all the way up to 59 out of 62. Door speakers: 6.5" Alpine SPS-610C 80 watts RMS / 240 watts max power. Not sure of the ohms. Rear speakers: Factory 6.5 Bose Speakers Sub Amplifier: Kenwood 9106D 500w RMS at 4 ohms or 1000w at 2 Ohms. Subwoofer and enclosure: Rockford fosgate P3SD2-12 shallow mount sub 400w RMS 800w in sealed box with 0.86 Cuft of airspace Other Amplifiers: None Space Limitations: (Dual 8's, triple 8's, or dual 10's) max height of preloaded sub box 15" Tall x 44" accross x whatever depth Music types: Rap, rock, bass, techno, dubstep, bass tracks (Almost all of my music is played thru youtube or thru the radio) Considering buying a dual setup of kicker comp c's in either a dual 8 or 10 inch setup. I want to buy a pre-loaded enclosure with the right amount of airspace on my new setup. I am open to all kinds of suggestions for audio system upgrades... Budget is right between $750.00-$1000.00 for the new setup. Due to my space limitations of 15x44xwhatever do you recommend a single 10, dual 10's, single 8, dual 8's, or a triple 8 setup? I'd love to do a dual 12 or even a 15" setup, but unfortunately I can't. Will two dual 10's or even 8's that are full size hit harder than my current p3sd2-12?
