Sup Guys, Ok, so today I was installing an InDash. Now before I tell the problem I had, let me tell what Im working with. An InDash DVD,CD,MP3,AM/FM with a built in TV Tuner. 2004 Chevy Tahoe. (No Onstar, No Bose System) everything regular. Now the problem that I had was the wire harness that I bought had a small seprate red wire with it, which at first I put to the side and went on with the installation. After crimping all the wires together the InDash would not even turn on. So I messed with it for awhile and than went back to the small red wire and red the following on the paper that came with the wire harness. "The 04 harness doesnt have a yellow(memory) use the red wire and run it to the fuse box. In other words the yellow on the harness which I crimped to the yellow from the unit and the yellow from the brains was not working. So I crimped the yellow from the brains and the unit and than ran a the small red wire to the ACC in the fuse box, and still nothing, so than I took the yellow wire from the harness and touched it to the red and the unit turned on, but one small problem still no memory. So than I took the red, and the yellow from the unit and brains and the yellow from the harness and the small red wire from the fuse box and put them all together, and guess what the unit worked and it had memory, however still one small problem now the unit was on all the time, even when the key was out of the car. So after trying all options, I gave up and hooked it up with the memory and everything worked, but no memory. SO CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME AND GUIDE ME ON HOW I SHOULD HOOK THIS THING UP. Thankx
