Ok so my 2500d just came in the mail this afternoon and I just got all the wires hooked up. Took forever cuz I did a run of 1/0 from the trunk to the yellowtop up front and it has dual grounds and power and all that but yeah it's all wired. Anyways, I go to hook the negative battery terminal back up and it sparks reaaaal big. I get it on and it's not sparking or anything anymore. So I turn on the car and turn on some music and only the speakers are playing. Orion isn't even on and I find out that I blew my 150 amp inline fuse that's in the distribution block. I turn the car off and go to replace it with another one and right when I complete the circuit with the fuse it pops real big and melts one of the ends. Like there was huge amount of power going through it. Now the fuse for the 300/4 is fine and it's branched off the same 1/0 that the orion is coming off of, so does that mean there's something wrong with the amp? I got it off ebay and don't exactly know the history. Any help is helpful right now, let me know if you guys have had any similar problems please!!!
