[QUOTE="kappa546, post: 638641, member: 549994"] alright... there have been some ok options given here but i think you can do better. why do you NEED 4 speakers? a set of components upfront are all you need... but if you have your heart set on 4 thats cool too. the combo deal at eD is pretty nice... you should get the edi6000s set (for a beginner on a budget i dont think jumping up to the 6500s is worth it) with a nine.4. Run the front channels to the speakers and bridge the rear to the sub. depending on what impedence the arc subs 3.5max6speed is selling, i would pick one of those up (or both).... excellent sounding sub. you definitely should spend your money amping your components rather than running them off the HU. For the deck, im not a fan of flashy-look-good decks with worthless features. a quality transport with little features but actual BALLS is much better and will likely cost you less (just have to know what to look for). for the $200 you're going to spend on that alpine i could buy 2-3 such decks (just got an unbeleivable deal on an old school eclipse ecd510 as a matter of fact). if this is the route you want to take (i cannot stress this enough) pm me or hit me up on aim and ill help you find something.
