Car is a 2009 jetta sedan What I have 10" rockford p3 in built enclosure Zed/US acoustics 2x150 amp and I bought this on impulse (knowing that I could sell it back if necessary) Pioneer - CD - Apple® iPod®-Ready - In-Dash Receiver with Detachable Faceplate - DXT-2569UI (forgive the long link) I want to install the sub and also possibly put the 6.5" speakers from that package in the rear door. I was planning on using the head unit, but after reading into things I keep seeing things about mbus issues and other problems with installing an aftermarket headunit (especially a budget one) I'm a moderate techy but a huge noob to car audio. I've been looking at line out convertors but don't know if they are right for me. The only problem I'm having with LOC option is I can't connect my phone via aux in. What do you think the best option is for me being on an extremely tight budget? I'm also looking to know the best bang for my buck in terms of buying the wires/fuses I need (should this be a kit or separate orders?) If I go the route of LOC how can I add aux. in functionality to my stock head unit? Any help is appreciated!
