Hey what's up guys. So I have been doing a lot of research on finding the right sub for myself and wanted to get some opinions from people who are experienced in this area. My current amp is a JL Audio jx360/2 https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_33526_JL-Audio-JX360-2.html?show_tab=1 and I currently run two Planet Audio AC10D https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_90010_Planet-Audio-AC10D.html What I'm wanting to do is buy one sub so there is more power going to it, because one sub say at 300watts will sound louder or w/e than two each individually using 150watts, correct? I want to stick with 10" I listen mostly to EDM, Rock, Metal, and Classic Rock, country on occasion. I only have an 8 AWG wire, don't really feel like running a new 4 AWG wire for a new amp right now. Here is one sub I have been really close to buying, JL Audio 10w0v3-4 https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_39835_JL-Audio-10-W0v3-10W0v3-4.html Now that I have read through a lot of posts in this section I saw someone mention JBL though it was a 12" I took a gander at the JBL s3-1024 looks pretty solid https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_98700_JBL-S3-1024-Toggle-between-2-Ohm-4-Ohm-Impedance.html Reason I like the JL Audio one it is $100 300w rms, though warrenty is voided passing 250, so id run it at that. I wouldn't run my sub at 100% anyways. In the future I would be buying another one, but that's at least 6 months, unless one just hits it perfect for me. I don't want to go past 600w with two, also in the future I want to get new speakers each running off another amp at 50w, so 200w total putting me at 800w between both, I have a 90 amp alternator, and I think 800-1000w is pushing it. If I could get help with this as soon as possible that would be great because if I end up getting the JBL I'd like to get the $23 discount before I leave here in 5 days for a few weeks. I also prefer not to go over about $130 oh and box I plan on getting https://www.amazon.com/Scosche-Se10-10-Inch-Sealed-Subwoofer-Enclosure/dp/B0007TJDG6/ref=pd_sbs_107_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0007TJDG6&pd_rd_r=CXS4GFR103HEQ8XAA42F&pd_rd_w=X6yNW&pd_rd_wg=4yriM&psc=1&refRID=CXS4GFR103HEQ8XAA42F would .1 cubic ft make much of a difference for the JL? there is another I'm looking at that is .71 Thanks.
