Soon as i turned my car off and turned it back on the amp instantly turned back on so i checked the gain on the amp and it was all the way up (i was surprised a shop like this would do something dumb like that) but anyways i turned the gain down to 3/4 instead of full power. The amp is still turning off on me and turns back on when u turn the car off and on again, i believe it lasts longer on now that the gain was lowered but it could be just all in my head. What is my issue here? Installation looks extremely clean even have an amp rack and wires LOOK perfect. Should i simply turn my gain down a little more to 1/2? I really want to fix this issue considering all the audio besides the HU has had only 2 days of use and its already giving my a headache.
Setup is in my signature, I got everything installed professionally by a shop that has a GREAT reputation and have been doing installs similar to mine for years and years... the first day i got the car back i noticed everything sounds great the power of the amp is amazing but after having it at high volume for a long time the amp turned off I'm guessing it went into protect mode.
