my first baby was born on august 4th, we have had alot of stuff going on and today was my first day back to work. im wondering what my time frame is before i have to have my baby boy added to my insurance so that the costs right after he was born are covered under my insurance. my human resources person was not at work today so i was not able to ask them, and my health packet that i have is for our old insurance policy (different insurance) not our current one. i know there are people here who have had babies, just wondering what you have came across and/or ran into during the birth. as a backround, the mother and i are not married so she is not on my insurance, only the baby will be on my insurance. just looking for a little help
