Ok, so maybe the sub itself could be better. However, i am happy with how hard it hits when it actually hits. It vibrates my clothes and my hair. I think the Alpine amp is a winner though. 500 watts rms should be plenty at 2 ohms. My issue to solve is: bass response is gone with Sirius radio. It bangs my 6x9's real good, but not the 10" sub. Same problem with mp3's on a cd. Will a sound processor used just on the sub fix this? If so, I'll buy one right now and replace my LOC with it. If not, the sub will go in a proper box for the back on my wifes suv and I'll live with my 6x9's thumpin away.
