Hi Guys, I bought a new 2011 Fiesta. My last car was a BMW z4 with a nice Eclipse HU, an Alpine PDX 2x150rms amp, and a set of Hertz Hi Energy 3way components. In order to do the Fiesta "right" I'd need to pull everything out. The HU, amps, speakers, etc. I don't have the cash for that, and this isn't a car I'm trying to throw a lot of money into. My fiesta has the premium stereo which is basically about 40x4rms. It has a 2 way up front (6.5 and 1" tweet) and a 6.5 coax in back. Too my understanding it's all 4ohm and the way already has a crossover built in. I'd like to just replace the speakers and see where that gets me. The stereo seems to put out a decent amount of power and the quality is decent, but the paper speakers sound like crap. I have a set of Focal PolyGlass tweeters that I'm going to start with. (it's relatively easy to get to the tweets). I'd like to find a good 6.5 mid that is efficient and sounds good. I don't really want much more volume than I already get (the car is amazingly quiet which helps the audio). I was thinking about just buying another Hertz 6.5, since the 6.5's I had in my last car were amazing. I'm also looking at CDT's but they have so much I don't know where to begin. Any recommendations?
