How does the Image Dynamics ID Max 12 sound? It puts out 1000W rms. Would 2 of these be overkill? What's the difference between 2 ohms and 4 ohms? Also, what are the best speakers I could get using my budget, and what kind of amps should I use to power my subs and speakers? Any and all help is appreciated.
Hey guys, I'm kinda new to car audio stuff. Anyway, I drive a 1990 Toyota Camry (not exactly the flashiest of cars, but since I pretty much have to keep it for awhile, I figured I might as well soup it up), and am looking towards installing an audio system on it. After working for awhile, I've managed to get a budget of around $1500. I do, however, need the complete works - deck, amps, speakers, subwoofers, etc. I think I'm going to go with the Pioneer DEH-p7400 for a deck, but am kinda lost as far as everything else goes. Sorry for all these questions, but I am really new to this kind of stuff. Also, how much would it cost me to install all of this? Do places like Best Buy do it? Will they even do stuff like building boxes for the subwoofers? Thanks, Rob:)
