It's a good all around subwoofer, with excellent SQ and will handle a bit more power over its rated IMO. 1 to 1.2cu ft cubes is about perfect for it. It has fine SQ to my ear. Very good value. If you can afford a more expensive subwoofer consider Image Dynamics IDQv3D2 or Peerless XXLS 12 from parts express. Both have very good sensitivity and baddass SQ. Peerless should be ok in 1cube, but I'd recommend to give it as much space as you can afford, maybe 1.3-1.5 cubest. Peerless will be the loudest on just 300watts among the three, but IDQ should play louder and with more composure once you give it it &gt;500watts of power.</p></blockquote><p></p>
