long story short, I was driving around with a box with 3 12"s in it, (not separate chambers, all one big one) and it was good, loud make the trunk rattle then someone pointed out that odd sound I was hearing on very deep/loud notes was actually one of the subs buzzing.....turns out i was driving around with 1 blow sub.....so basically the whole time i was listening to 2 subs in a sealed box disgned for 3 12s. I was given a ported box for 2 12s and I swapped them out. Now they sound like SHIT! I followed the instruction for getting the gain on my amp, and with the volume all the way up the rear view mirror HARDLY moves, where before when the box sizes was totally off, it shook wtf happened? when the volume is at 27/33, the subs dont even sound like they are hitting, like you cant feel them hitting, they are just loud....its weird, you can "feel" them hitting at like 16-17/33 volume, but louder, its fuked.... what happened? LPF wroung? its set to like 80hz any ideas? the subs are 12" cerwin vega HED the amp is a Kenwood D-Class 8101D the headunit is a Kenwood excelon KDC-X789
