I was driving and the subs started cutting in and out, working for a while and then stopping for about five seconds at a time. When I got home, I checked the amp and such and all looked fine. I started driving again and the sound from my subs completely stopped after about a minute. Hmm. I returned home (I was close) and checked the back, and it appeared that on my amp, the wire with the label "GND" was completely unconnected (I think because the wire is pretty tight and the box shifts in my trunk a lot). I didn't install it in my trunk so I didn't really know how to do this, but I figured it couldn't be that hard... The ends of the wire were pretty frayed out so I recrimped the wire, loosened the screw on the amp, placed the wire as deep as I could get it between the place and the screw, and then screwed it all back in tight. Turned my car on, the subs went for about ten seconds and then stopped, and now I can't get any of the sound back. Any idea what I should do? The GND wire looks pretty solid, I got it in there good... If you read my wall of text and can help my idiocy, that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance .
