Or so I thought. I had a SAX-125.2 powering my Stereo Integrity Mag 12" sub. Well, the 125.2 runs 400w at 4 ohms. So that's the way the sub is wired. I replace my 125.2 with a brand new SAZ-1000D, which runs 1000 watts at 1 ohm... but only 300w at 4 ohms. So I plug it in and I can barely hear the **** thing. I'm like, this amp sucks! Then I remembered that the sub is wired for a 4 ohm load. It's dark out and the mosquitoes are killing me. I'll take my car to the shop tomorrow and have it wired right. I'm excited to see what the Mag can do with 1000 watts plugged into it!
