I ended up cutting into the floor to allow some more space behind the mids and mounted them in an mdf ring (i did not make an enclosure). Then I cut away the existing kick panels to fit around the speakers (had to buy a new set because i screwed up the first). The panels didn't fit quite properly because the mdf protruded a little so i took a blow torch and heated each panel until i was able to mold it for a much nicer fit.</p><p></p><p>The amp rack I made in the back was just something so I could keep everything stationary in the trunk and throw stuff on top of the amps if need be. I've got 2 led fans pulling air out and I created a channel in the back to allow air to get pulled in (and also run all my wires). Instead of a relay to switch the fans on, the engineer I work with made a simple circuit with a mosfet that switches the ground and draws next to no current. The diamond amp is hinged to allow easy access to the adjustments and I plan on hinging the Infinity when I get around to it. I made the rack in an "L" shape so that the sub would fit snugly next to it and also so I had a channel to run the wires through.</p><p></p><p>Overall, I couldn't be happier with my system now.
