I guarantee you that after you clamp down that wood, unless you clamp the living hell out of it....if you throw screws in there you will see more glue seeping out the edges...becauuuuuse its getting tighter.  Im not saying that you cant build a great box with just gllue and clamps...BUT...screws make it that much stronger.</blockquote>
