This is my second box. A little more complicated than my first one as this has an angled face and this ones actually made out of 1 inch MDF rather than 3/4 particle board And i must say for what ive done so far, it wasnt nearly as hard or as much of a pain in my *** as i thought it was gonna be, actually kinda fun. This box is 5.2 cubes net for my 2 MA audio 150xe 15"s, sealed. Heres my original plans : I went to Home Depot and got one sheet of 1 inch MDF which was like 30$, then some clamps, glue, and etc. Ended up being 50$ or so all together. I got the wood cutter dude to cut all my boards to spec except for the side panels which i knew id have to cut myself once i got all the angles and such done. Ive got a little problem so far but its no biggie i guess, But theres a small gap at the bottom on one side where the angled face is gonna mount. I bought some wood filler so when i get it together and glued and screwed and everything ill wood fill the the crack and leak test it to make sure its sealed good. Bottom piece - 20x48 Back piece - 14x48 Top piece - 14x48 Angled face - 18x48 Side pieces - 30x24 Also went to wal mart and got some polyfelt and 3m spray adhesive to wrap the box with. Was like 7$ for a piece that was 72x112 Heres what i got done today, worked on it for about 2 hours and im almost done.
