If your going with the HD312 then I would say 36-40hz depending your application if you want to destroy lows and still get loud then I would say 36hz in 2.5-3cubes with 1000-1500rms, if your looking more for SQL then 3cubes at 40hz with 1000-1200rms and you will be surely amazed at the output. If your going with the 2.5 you can get away with 2cubes tuned at 34hz, but your not going to get great SQ, but thats expected.</blockquote>
